The national anti-cancer program, announced the formation of 18 Commission for various types of cancers and that the ministry of health is in its way to establish a national register for oncology in Sudan.
The Co-Chairman of the National anti-cancer committee Dr. Suleiman Salih stated in press
statement that the objectives of the programme to provide modern methods for diagnosing cancer and the establishment of the national register of oncology.
Dr. Suleiman indicated that cancer is the third leading cause of death in Sudan after malaria and hepatitis.
